Who I See

I work with a wide range of people – clients of all ages who present with the following:

Trauma
Post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
Anxiety
Depression
Despair
Anger
Grief

I have a proven ability to make clients feel comfortable and heard. My aim is to help my clients move through their trauma and to empower them with tools they can use themselves between sessions.

How to book an appointment with me

Some of my clients have a Mental Health Treatment Plan. This qualifies you for a considerable Medicare rebate.

If you are interested in this, please contact your GP and ask them to set up a plan and a referral.

I also see clients under the NSW Victims Services scheme. This scheme offers free counselling for victims of crime. If you want to know your eligibility please check out their website.

I also accept private clients. Some private health funds offer rebates.

The best way to contact me is via phone during office hours. This way you can ask me questions and I can explain how our sessions will work and what you need to book in.

Approaches and Modalities

Due to the sensitive nature of what many people come to me for, it’s important to me that my clients feel comfortable in our sessions. Progress is not linear. I therefore often adjust consultations according to how a client appears to be feeling that day, drawing on different approved modalities.

I use the following approaches with my clients. Sometimes a combination of treatments is required:
